Sneeuwuil - Bas Meelker Wildlife and Landscape Photography

The Natural History Museum Fryslân has selected several of my Owl images to be shown in the 'Nachtbrakers' exposition, held from March 20 until September 19, 2010 in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands.

Schotse hooglanders in het Nationaal Park Lauwersmeer - Bas Meelker Natuurfotografie en LandschapsfotografieWe zijn vooral gewend om onze grijs-gradatie (ND) filters te gebruiken in situaties waarbij het verschil tussen bijvoorbeeld een lichte lucht en een donkere voorgrond 1 stop of meer bedraagt.. Vaak bij zonsopkomsten of -ondergangen of in situaties met veel schaduw op de voorgrond. In andere situaties blijven ze vaak in de tas. Jammer, want je kunt ze veel vaker gebruiken dan je misschien denkt.
