Yesterday I was on a field trip with Mieke and Richard for a small private workshop. Conditions were looking good and we decided to head for a small beach just south of Hindeloopen at Lake IJsselmeer. It’s a well known spot which I’ve visited before. At such a location the right composition is obvious: a simple lead in line, water and big skies. We had a great time with conditions constantly changing during the evening. It’s fun to see how much can be done with just a simple composition and the right light. It’s all about forcing yourself to try a different approach and making the effort. Thanks Mieke and Richard for a great evening. We’ll meet again!
