Last Thursday I gave a guest lecture at the Photography Academy in Rotterdam. It’s always great share my experiences, faults, mistakes and succeses with young people who are trying to make a career in the world of photography. Even more so as a landscape photographer. Most students I talk to are leaning towards a career as a portrait, fashion or documentary photographer. Showing them the world of a full time landscape photographer is often a whole new experience for them. And I try to make that experience as motivational as possible.
Afterwards I decided to stick around for some twilight shots of the Rijnhaven in Rotterdam. It’s always a great place for cityscapes with some impressive urban landscapes. Rotterdam will certainly be back on the calendar as a Cityscape workshop next year! Have a great week everyone!
